Harvard's 66 years between tournament appearances is the longest in tournament history breaking the record of 47 set by Brown (1986), Stanford (1989) and Wisconsin (1994).

Harvard had the longest drought of any current Division I school that had previously been to the tournament. Only Springfield (1940), Catholic (1944) and Tufts (1945) had gone longer without a tournament appearance, but they are not currently Division I schools.

Dartmouth now has the longest drought of any current Division I school.  Their last tournament appearance was 1959
